Raimund
Genes
CTO Anti-Malware & General Manager, Incubation Business
Raimund Genes, CTO Anti-Malware and general manager of Trend Micro’s incubation business, has been with Trend Micro for more than eight years. As managing director, he successfully built up the German business unit in Munich, making it one of the most successful units within the company. In November 2000, he was promoted to the position of European vice president of sales and marketing and went on to become the president of European operations in the Autumn of 2001. In March 2006 Genes was appointed CTO of anti-malware.
Genes has worked in the computer industry since 1978. He was employed for some years by the German Air Force in the field of aircraft tracking and control. He has gained in-depth knowledge in the security and antivirus arena and ran his own security-related computer company before joining Trend Micro. A well-known IT expert, he has published many articles in security-related magazines.
Dana
Epp
Dana Epp researches software security and sets the corporate vision in the
convergence of information security principles and practices with digital
information asset protection at Scorpion Software. As a computer security
software architect, Dana has spent the last 15 years focusing on computer
programming with a particular emphasis on security engineering to offer a safer
computing environment for small business.
Dana has been an instructor in the Computer Information Systems department at
the University College of the Fraser Valley and British Columbia Institute of
Technology, teaching students about computer programming and information
security. He has brought to market various computer security products including
secure operating systems, firewalls, VPNs, authentication devices and intrusion
prevention systems (IPS). His latest research has been on identity and access
control for Windows-based environments, focusing on two-factor authentication
solutions for small business.
Amy
Babinchak
Amy owns Harbor Computer Services, a consulting firm specializing in providing
IT services to small businesses. She has 15 years of experience in the IT
industry, is the founder and leader of a local SMB user group and is an ISA MVP.
Her interest in ISA goes back to the first release, which she saw as a major
advancement in security control options for small businesses. Amy has written
several articles, publishes an SBS specific ISA blog, is a contributing author
of SBS 2003 Unleashed, has been a speaker to several SBS user groups, webcasts
and conferences, and offers her services to assist other SBS consultants with
ISA and network configuration issues. .
Susan
Bradley
Susan Bradley is a Small Business Server and Security MVP Diva and is widely
recognised as the expert on the subject of patching an SBS box properly and
shares her knowledge of what can be a rather dry subject in a very compelling
and entertaining way.
Susan lives, breathes, and we think even eats SBS but more importantly, is a tech
savvy CPA - being a principal with Tamiyasu, Smith, Horn and Braun in Fresno,
California.
Susan is also an accomplished author with a number of security
focused chapters in many SMB books. She's currently writing for the
upcoming Windows Server 2008 Security Resource Kit which will be available early
in 2008.

Wayne
Small
With over 25 years in the IT industry, Wayne Small, MCSE 2000, MCSE+I, is one of the top
Microsoft Microsoft Small Business Server focused Most Valuable
Professionals (MVP) worldwide and hosts one of the leading non Microsoft sources
of information for Small Business Server, www.sbsfaq.com. He has been an
International guest speaker at a range of conferences covering
both business and technical topics. He has also participated in various road
shows focused on Small Business Server for Microsoft Australia. Wayne is also
the founder of successful Sydney based IT Integration
company - Correct Solutions. Correct Solutions supports small to medium
businesses with complete IT solutions. The company has been involved in the
Small Business Server product since its inception in 1997.
Dean
Calvert
Dean graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) in 1991, but found he had
a greater interest in fixing computers than blowing things up. After working for
several network integrators, he started Calvert Technologies in 1995. His
company provides network design, deployment and management services for small to
medium businesses throughout South Australia with, of course, SBS being a core
product. Other areas of specialisation include terminal services, security,
disaster prevention and recovery, remote access and strategic planning.
Dean started and has run the Adelaide SBS user group (www.sbsusers.net) since
July 2003 and has presented at Microsoft events around Australia on both
technical and business related topics. In October 2004 Dean met with Microsoft
France to provide them with guidance and advice for starting their own user
group program which is now enjoying great success.
Ryan
Spillane
Ryan is one of those rare entrepreneurs who from a young age discovered he had
an eye for business. Combined with a passion for technology, in 1998 Ryan
launched both RAS Group, a business management, administration, and bookkeeping
company. As well as RAS World, a small business IT systems integrator, RAS World
saw rapid growth in the local area and took the opportunity in early 2005 to
merge with Sydney’s’ Correct Solutions.
Correct Solutions designs, deploys, and manages total network solutions for
small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The company specializes in Microsoft™
Small Business Server environments and must deliver solutions that give
non-expert users efficient, reliable, and secure computing environments.
While Ryan leads as sole Director of Correct, he also lends his energy and
enthusiasm to community activities and is a key member of the Sydney Small
Business Server User Group. With his ability to speak about business issues and
explain technology in layman’s terms, Ryan is a popular speaker both locally and
internationally, delivering content with real life experience, focus and humour.
Ryan has a background in accounting, is a certified professional in Microsoft’s
Small Business Server and is currently studying the ever changing Microsoft
Licensing options.
Eriq
Neale
Eriq Oliver Neale is an author/speaker/musician/consultant who plies his craft
supporting technology for small businesses. President and founder of EON
Consulting in Denton, Texas, Eriq was the lead author of Microsoft Small
Business Server 2003 Unleashed. He specializes in cross-platform integration in
small business networks, and consults with IT professionals around the globe.
Eriq can be found in the SBS newsgroups, in the forums at smallbizserver.net,
and can be heard on the weekly eOnCall internet radio program.
